Genesis 16:7 Now the angel of the LORD found Hagar by a spring of water in the desert—the spring along the road to Shur.
Genesis 24:7, 40 The LORD, the God of heaven, who brought me from my father’s house and my native land, who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, ‘To your offspring I will give this land’—He will send His angel before you so that you can take a wife for my son from there. / And he told me, ‘The LORD, before whom I have walked, will send His angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you may take a wife for my son from my kindred and from my father’s house.
Exodus 23:20, 23 Behold, I am sending an angel before you to protect you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. / For My angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will annihilate them.

He thought he was only seeing a vision.
Hebrews 1:7, 14 Now about the angels He says: “He makes His angels winds, His servants flames of fire.” / Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Hebrews 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
