Integrity: Jacob's Sons, when Accused by Joseph of Robbery

Source: Nav

Genesis 43:15–22 So the men took these gifts, along with double the amount of silver, and Benjamin as well. Then they hurried down to Egypt and stood before Joseph. / When Joseph saw Benjamin with his brothers, he said to the steward of his house, “Take these men to my house. Slaughter an animal and prepare it, for they shall dine with me at noon.” / The man did as Joseph had commanded and took the brothers to Joseph’s house.
Genesis 44:7–16 “Why does my lord say these things?” they asked. “Your servants could not possibly do such a thing. / We even brought back to you from the land of Canaan the silver we found in the mouths of our sacks. Why would we steal silver or gold from your master’s house? / If any of your servants is found to have it, he must die, and the rest will become slaves of my lord.”
