a blessing if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God that I am giving you today,
Deuteronomy 28:1–13
“Now if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God and are careful to follow all His commandments I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. / And all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you, if you will obey the voice of the LORD your God: / You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
Luke 11:28
But He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
James 1:25
But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom, and continues to do so—not being a forgetful hearer, but an effective doer—he will be blessed in what he does.
