Pontius Pilate: Tries Jesus and Orders his Crucifixion

Matthew 27:1 When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people conspired against Jesus to put Him to death.
Mark 15:1 Early in the morning, the chief priests, elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin devised a plan. They bound Jesus, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate.
