Reptiles: Unclean and not Eaten

Source: TTT

Leviticus 11:31, 40–43 These animals are unclean for you among all the crawling creatures. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening. / Whoever eats from the carcass must wash his clothes and will be unclean until evening, and anyone who picks up the carcass must wash his clothes and will be unclean until evening. / Do not defile yourselves by any crawling creature; do not become unclean or defiled by them.
Acts 10:11–14 He saw heaven open and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. / It contained all kinds of four-footed animals and reptiles of the earth, as well as birds of the air. / Then a voice said to him: “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!”
