Acts 2:1–42, 46, 47 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. / Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. / They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
Acts 4:4 But many who heard the message believed, and the number of men grew to about five thousand.
Acts 5:14 Yet more and more believers were brought to the Lord—large numbers of both men and women.

Acts 14:1 At Iconium, Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue, where they spoke so well that a great number of Jews and Greeks believed.
