Luke 8:6, 13
Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the seedlings withered because they had no moisture. / The seeds on rocky ground are those who hear the word and receive it with joy, but they have no root. They believe for a season, but in the time of testing, they fall away.
John 15:6
If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.
2 Peter 2:17
These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them.
Jude 1:12
These men are hidden reefs in your love feasts, shamelessly feasting with you but shepherding only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried along by the wind; fruitless trees in autumn, twice dead after being uprooted.
