Strife: Christ, an Example of Avoiding

Source: TTT

Isaiah 42:2 He will not cry out or raise His voice, nor make His voice heard in the streets.
Matthew 12:15–19 Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them all, / warning them not to make Him known. / This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
Luke 9:52–56 He sent messengers on ahead, who went into a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him. / But the people there refused to welcome Him, because He was heading for Jerusalem. / When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do You want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?”
1 Peter 2:23 When they heaped abuse on Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats, but entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly.
