And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, gathered together / and saying, “The Lord has indeed risen and has appeared to Simon!” / Then the two told what had happened on the road, and how they had recognized Jesus in the breaking of the bread.
Acts 1:2–9

Acts 10:40, 41
God raised Him up on the third day and caused Him to be seen— / not by all the people, but by the witnesses God had chosen beforehand, by us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.
