the High Priest Christ: Superior to Aaron and the Levitical Priests

Source: TTT

Hebrews 7:11, 16, 22 Now if perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on this basis the people received the law), why was there still need for another priest to appear—one in the order of Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron? / one who has become a priest not by a law of succession, but by the power of an indestructible life. / Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
Hebrews 8:1, 2, 6 The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, / and who ministers in the sanctuary and true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man. / Now, however, Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises.
