Psalm 64:7–9
But God will shoot them with arrows; suddenly they will be wounded. / They will be made to stumble, their own tongues turned against them. All who see will shake their heads. / Then all mankind will fear and proclaim the work of God; so they will ponder what He has done.
Zephaniah 3:6, 7
“I have cut off the nations; their corner towers are destroyed. I have made their streets deserted with no one to pass through. Their cities are laid waste, with no man, no inhabitant. / I said, ‘Surely you will fear Me and accept correction.’ Then her dwelling place would not be cut off despite all for which I punished her. But they rose early to corrupt all their deeds.
