Matthew 10:1, 8 And calling His twelve disciples to Him, Jesus gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could drive them out and heal every disease and sickness. / Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
Mark 16:17, 18 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; / they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.”
Luke 10:1, 9, 17, 19 After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place He was about to visit. / Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’ / The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.”
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Acts 10:44–46 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard his message. / All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. / For they heard them speaking in tongues and exalting God. Then Peter said,
