Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 23:13, 14 Do not withhold discipline from a child; although you strike him with a rod, he will not die. / Strike him with a rod, and you will deliver his soul from Sheol.
