Duty Toward The Afflicted: To Pray for Them

Source: TTT

Acts 12:5 So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was fervently praying to God for him.
Philippians 1:16, 19 The latter do so in love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. / because I know that through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, my distress will turn out for my deliverance.
James 5:14–16 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. / And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. The Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. / Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.
